Nothing in Common Collection
#NOTHINGINCOMMON, hip, bold, colourful and full of references from pop culture. The candy-pink and green-soda colour palette mix with fun shapes making allusion to daily objects such as the “Fortune Cookie Earrings”, “Serpentine Earrings” or the “Pet Choker”.
It was an irreverent collection in all senses, from the new chromed colouring technique (not common in jewellery in 2017), to the campaign itself, using plastic valueless objects that juxtaposed with the pieces.
MOODBOARD / PROCESS
Inspired by Jeff Koons sculptures, for this collection I decided to experiment for the first time in jewellery, with the industrial process of chroming metals. By that time, this technique was exclusive for industrial purposes and it took a long time to develop a method for adapting the technique to jewellery.
